Boa Constrictor Found in Florida Everglades

William Mohler III blogged about finding a 9' Boa in the Everglades. He has several good photos including one of the bite wound on his arm. His final statement "Be careful she bites. I guess if someone took me away from my personal heaven, full of all the food I could eat, all the sun I could soak up, and all the water I could drink I would be mad too." makes me wonder if he released the Boa. Else why would I need to be careful? Hope not.

ooooh...I'm so terrified of snakes! I have snake-phobia I think!!

Scarlett, Most of Florida has it's share of snakes. South Florida is getting a reputation for a growing population of large exotic snakes. While I am not happy with how they may effect the local creatures, it is cool to not have to travel half way around the world to see some of these in the wild.
